We believe in doing what you can, when you can and give thanks for the many ways we can work together, sharing ideas, love, support and resources. May we be a blessing to many, in our own unique ways.

Ways to contribute to the life and work of

Lansing United

There are many ways of contributing to the life and work of Lansing United Church. Cash or cheque donations are appreciated, you can go on PAR (pre-authorized remittance taken from your account monthly), make an e-transfer, donate through CanadaHelps, or volunteer on one of our committees.

Cheque/Cash

You will find the offering plate on the table just inside the Sanctuary doors and there are guest envelopes you can fill out if you would like to receive a tax receipt.

You are welcome to sign up with PAR which is our monthly program that debits your bank account automatically making regular donations easy for you and helps support the consistency of the overall church budget.

If you are making a contribution to a specific project, please indicate that on your envelope.

2. We accept donations through Canada Helps. org

You can donate directly to Lansing United Church by clicking the blue "Donate" button below. Please note that tax receipts are provided directly by Canada Helps.

3. E-Transfer

Log into your online bank account, look for the tab "Interac e-transfer" and follow the prompt to set up the Recipient information.
In the field for entering the email address of the recipient, please enter: etransfer@lansingchurch.com
Some banks may require you to set up a security question and provide an answer to the set question.
When you are prepared to make a donation, please enter the following information in the message box:

Your name
Assigned Envelope Number - If you have an envelope number, please write it down. (* If you do not have an envelope number or cannot remember it, please include your name and address for tax receipt purposes)
Indicate the type of funds designated e.g. General, Mission and Service, Building, Food Bank, etc.You can designate your donations to multiple funds but you will have to specify how much is designated for each one.

We acknowledge this sacred land where Lansing United is located, has been a site of human activity for more than 15,000 years. This land is the territory of the Huron-Wendat and Haudenosaunee and, most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit. The Traditional Territory that Lansing United Church is on, falls under Treaty No. 13, agreed to by the Crown of England and the Chiefs of the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Today, the meeting place of Toronto is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island, and we are grateful for this land that was under their care. Because of this care, we are able to do what we do – provide worship space for several ecumenical partners, create space for a large childcare centre and after school programming, make space for ESL classes, music programs and a variety of community events. Here, we live into our commitment to be a welcoming and affirming place, where all are welcome.
