We are a Community of Faith and Service Committed to God in Christ. We seek to provide spiritual, emotional and tangible support to one another, the Lansing community and the world.
Food Security Giving with Intention
Food security is important to all of us and Lansing United Church has had a long history of being the local Food Bank. However, with Covid and aging volunteers, we no longer house the Food Bank, but we have become partners with the NeighbourLink 415 Food Hub.
Non perishable items and financial donation can be dropped off here at Lansing - there is a cart at the front entrance for your convenience.
We forward food and any donations weekly to NeighbourLink. Cheques can be made out to NeighbourLink North York and please write in the memo line that the donation is for the Food Hub. You can mail it directly to: NeighbourLink 89 Centre Ave, North York, ON M2M 2L7 or put it on our collection plate and we will forward it for you.
Please note that your tax receipt for a Food Bank donation will come directly from NeighbourLink.
